Last night we had the pleasure of welcoming guests and speakers from the Massachusetts American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary to the Joint Boys State & Girls State Convocation.

Moreover, the Massachusetts Boys State & Girls State Foundation honored Robert Hicks with the Citizen of the Year award. The award honors the extraordinary contributions of an individual to the program and to the greater good of society.

The evening was capped off with inspiring speeches from State Senator Anne Gobi and State Rep Steven Xiarhos. #MABS22

At Boys State there's time to stay active during r

At Boys State there's time to stay active during recreation period in the afternoon. There are four tournament sports: soccer, softball, flag football and basketball. Often students will organize and participate in other sports such as Ultimate Frisbee and volleyball. Please bring equipment for your sport of interest such as a baseball glove, lacrosse stick/ball, etc.

Rehearsals occur during recreation period. If you would like to participate, please remember to bring your instrument with you to Boys State.
