The fourth day of Boys State saw both parties fina The fourth day of Boys State saw both parties finalize their platform/resolutions and candidates for statewide office speak to the entire Boys State population during candidates forum. In honor of Flag Day, a memorial service was held. #MABS22

We were honored to have Dr. Timothy French, Mr. Will McDonough, and Mr. Mike Davidson of Boys State 1997 speak to the citizens of Boys State about life lessons learned in the 25 years since they attended Boys State.
Capt. Ross Reynolds of Boys State 2012 was posthumously honored for his heroic and selfless sacrifice while serving in our armed forces. #MABS22

Last night we had the pleasure of welcoming guests Last night we had the pleasure of welcoming guests and speakers from the Massachusetts American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary to the Joint Boys State & Girls State Convocation. 

Moreover, the Massachusetts Boys State & Girls State Foundation honored Robert Hicks with the Citizen of the Year award. The award honors the extraordinary contributions of an individual to the program and to the greater good of society.

The evening was capped off with inspiring speeches from State Senator Anne Gobi and State Rep Steven Xiarhos. #MABS22

Tomorrow is the day! Registration is from 9:30-11A Tomorrow is the day! Registration is from 9:30-11AM Saturday, June 11. Park in the lot adjacent to the Duffy Academic Building and from there you will be directed to the correct location. #MABS22

At Boys State there's time to stay active during r At Boys State there's time to stay active during recreation period in the afternoon. There are four tournament sports: soccer, softball, flag football and basketball. Often students will organize and participate in other sports such as Ultimate Frisbee and volleyball. Please bring equipment for your sport of interest such as a baseball glove, lacrosse stick/ball, etc.
Make some noise, raise the roof, join the Boys Sta Make some noise, raise the roof, join the Boys State & Girls State band. All our major events have a musical component, and if you play an instrument, we need your talent. Rehearsals occur during recreation period. If you would like to participate, please remember to bring your instrument with you to Boys State.
