- Attire is casual, jeans, and shorts are suggested. Students will be given two Boys State T-shirts upon arrival, which are required to be worn for the week
- If you plan to participate in our intramural sports programs, pack athletic shorts, extra socks and underwear, along with protective gear, braces, etc. Light sports equipment is permitted; however neither spikes or cleats are allowed. Students will be given a Boys State athletic T-shirt upon arrival, which are required to be worn during athletic events
- The night of the inauguration, we ask students to wear a dress shirt with jacket and tie.
- Long pants for Sunday night Joint Boys/Girls State Convocation.
- Comfortable everyday shoes/sneakers, dress shoes for inauguration night and flip flops/sandals.
- Plenty of socks and underwear
- Bedding – sheets for a twin bed, blanket, and pillow
- Bath towels
- Water bottle
- Toiletries: soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, grooming supplies, sunscreen, etc
- Pen and notepad
- Materials for campaign signs and posters.
Please do not bring expensive jewelry or expensive electronic items. Massachusetts Boys State and Stonehill College cannot be held responsible for the loss of personal property.
